Surfside Beach & Garden City: Crews anticipate work beginning during the second week of July.

The Army Corp of Engineers has begun beach renourishment operations along the Grand Strand in North Myrtle Beach. Work will continue progressing southward and will move into the City of Myrtle Beach followed by Garden City and Surfside Beach. The beach renourishment project will take about 18 months. They work in 1,000-foot sections which take 1-3 days. We do not know when it will impact Royal Garden Resort but as soon as we do, we will let guests with reservations know more.
